Outils Belges

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026.

1. Principle: your data stays with you

Outils Belges is built around privacy. All calculations run locally, in your browser. The data you enter (salary, amounts, invoice details, etc.) is neither transmitted nor stored on our servers. Generated files (e.g. a PDF invoice) are produced on your device and never leave it.

2. "Report a problem" form

Exception to the principle above: the report form (/en/signaler-un-probleme) sends to our server the information you voluntarily enter there (description of the problem, any values indicated, email if you provide one), as well as your browser and the originating page, solely to process your report. This data is kept (email and report history) to track and fix the tools, never resold or used for advertising purposes. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile (anti-spam), which may require JavaScript.

3. "Contact" form

Same principle for the contact form (/en/contact): the information you enter (name, email, subject, message), as well as your browser and the originating page, is sent to our server solely to respond to your request. Kept for follow-up, never resold or used for advertising purposes. Same anti-spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) as the report form.

4. Data controller

Ousmane Diop, Avenue Paul de Merten 14, 1090 Jette (Belgium), publisher of Outils Belges (see Legal Notice). For any question about your data: contact@outilsbelges.be.

5. Cookieless audience measurement

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly statistics tool that does not use cookies, does not create a digital fingerprint, and does not collect any personally identifiable data. Only aggregated, anonymous metrics (page views, country, referrers) are produced. No consent banner is therefore required.

6. Local storage

Some tools may save information in your browser's local storage, purely for your convenience (e.g. your issuer details and the last invoice number). This data stays on your device, is not a tracking cookie, and you can clear it at any time via your browser's settings.

7. Third-party links and services

The site contains links to third-party services, including affiliate links. When you leave Outils Belges, the third-party site's privacy policy applies. We have no control over these sites and disclaim any responsibility for their practices.

8. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection. For calculations, we do not collect or retain personally identifiable data; for the report and contact forms (sections 2 and 3), these rights apply to the data you submitted there. You can contact us at contact@outilsbelges.be and, in case of a dispute, file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (autoriteprotectiondonnees.be).
